CGS Robotics Bootcamp

Overview

The CGS Robotics Bootcamp is a two-day hands-on robotics programme designed to give students a practical and engaging introduction to robot building, programming, testing, and problem-solving. The bootcamp will run in two parallel robotics tracks: Line Following Robot Track Participants will learn how sensors, motors, and programming work together to help a robot detect and follow a path automatically. Students will assemble, program, test, and improve their robots through practical activities and track challenges. Sumo Bot Track Participants will explore robot design, movement, control, and competition strategy while building and programming a Sumo Bot. Students will test, improve, and compete with their robots through supervised practice and friendly challenges. Each participant must select one track only during registration and will continue with the same track throughout both days of the bootcamp. The two tracks will run simultaneously in separate groups. The programme is designed to develop STEM skills, creativity, teamwork, logical thinking, engineering concepts, programming skills, and hands-on problem-solving in an enjoyable learning environment.
